2. Why aren't there greenhouses?

Greenhouses have been around for generations. In some regions – like parts of Canada the way it is in northern Ontario – this was the most successful form of agriculture until it wasn't even close to being mainstream. During the 1970s, with a population of 10,000 people, Canada was one of the first countries in Europe to include them in the national register, which allowed farmers to grow far higher than they otherwise would, and even had far more farmers in their system. In Canada, only a few "greenhouses" survive today. At around 50 acres, they look pretty stunning, too.

The big challenge for this approach is that the greenhouses weren't really there until they came about, and have had an overwhelming presence for many over the past couple of decades, making them almost a household name. The government decided they should be allowed to stay, so it added in another 35 acres, and for good reason.

But it wasn't until 1980, when the government began moving a proposal about greenhouses to the legislature, that it actually became a reality. That, along with the creation of greenhouses in the past decade, created a new standard of living for the country. For the first time
